Shekhinah Donnel Celebrates 3 Months of Motherhood

Shekhinah Donnell stunned fans when she announced that not only had she given birth, but her daughter had just turned three months old.

Last Friday, 11 September, the 31-year-old South African singer-songwriter shared via Instagram a series of beachside pregnancy photos showing off her baby bump, dressed in a white bikini set with a lace cover-up. Choosing to keep her pregnancy and delivery away from the public eye, Shekhinah used the post to reflect on her journey into motherhood.

“We are so lucky to have you with us, baby girl,” the “Suited” hitmaker wrote. “I am leaving these pictures here as a forever reminder of the magic that is pregnancy and a timestamp of when life changed forever for the better. By God’s grace, you are here and more precious than we could have asked for. Happy 3 months to our favourite girl.”

The unexpected reveal prompted an outpouring of congratulations from fans and high-profile industry peers, including Grace Mondlana, LaConco and Tshepi Vundla.
